Ans. .The exchange of information between people who are not at the same place physically. It allows students to exchange information with students and teachers in other countries. Ans. It is true that the modern means of communication have harmed the social skills of people. They have become experts in emailing and texting  forgetting the joys of getting together and talking to each other.

Ans. E-mail has replaced letters and postcards almost completely in urban areas. They are quicker to write and send. We can be sure that they will reach the addresses instantly. For example-- Social networking sites such as Facebook, Myspace,Twitter etc.

4. How has internet made communication almost instant ? 

Ans. The network is the great source of communication, information and entertainment. It is playing an important role in businesses ,industry, education, health care, travelling, entertainment etc. The Internet has brought in new forms of social interaction.

Ans.  Four disadvantages of the modern means of Communications----

1.   The modern means of communication have harmed the social skills of the people.
