Rock- a large piece of stone (चट्टान, बड़ा पत्थर)

Voice- sound ( आवाज़)

Reach- arrive (पहुंचना)

Sow - spread ( बीज बोना)

Mow -cut down (घास काटना)

Row - line ( लाइन, पंक्ति)

Blow - strong winds ( फुंक मारना)

Glow - shine, light ( चमक)

Slow -low (धीरे)

Since - before present time (बाद में)

II. Answer the following questions after reading the story.

Ans. The Parrot is in Kalu's nest.

 (c) Who is cunning in the story?Ans. The Fox is cunning in the story. 

(d) What does the fox do to the two birds?                                    Ans. The Fox jumps on the two birds. He kills and eats them.
