Ans. A. Voluntary Migration - When people move to another place on their own wish or choice for better education and job. This type of migration is known as Voluntary Migration.

B. Forced Migration - It is the movement of people due to natural disaster like flood, earthquake, Tsunami etc. Sometimes it may be migrate due to man made disaster.

C. Seasonal Migration - Sometimes people move from one place to another for season employee. This is known as Seasonal Migration.

2. List three hardships that the migrants face.  

Ans. The three hardships that migrants face  -

A. They have to live without basic amenities like shelter, sanitation .

B. The woman have to work hard.

3. 'Migration brings happiness to many people.  Explain with two examples.  

Ans. Migration brings happiness to many people as -

A. Migration is like a chain.It gives  the message of settled life.

B. People see new places, experience,climate that suit them and learn about different customs and traditions. 

4. Suppose you have to migrate to another city.  List two preparations that you will make.  

Ans. If I have to migrate to another city  then - (i) I will adjust my residence first .

(ii)  I will arrange all the things that I use daily.

5. What facilities are needed by people in case of a disaster?  

Ans. People those are suffered  from disaster. They should be provided facilities of shelter, food, medicine, clothes and our emotional support.
