master - teacher,head,boss, leader  (मास्टर)

brave - bold (बहादुर)

scared-  fearful (डरा हुआ)

slippery  - smooth- (फिसलन ) suddenly - quickly-  (अचानक)

agrees - admit - (सहमत है)

foamy - full of tiny air bubbles - (साबुन का झाग)

roast - bake, grill -(भुना हुआ)

thirsty - in need of a water - (प्यासा)

I. Look at the pictures and fill in the blanks:

II. Arrange the words to make proper sentences.

(c) Who lives in the jungle? 

Ans. A big bad lion lives in the jungle.

(d) Who is not scared of the lion?

Ans. Soapy is not scared of the lion.

 (e) What does the lion eat everyday? 

Ans. The lion eats boars everyday

IV. Put a cross ( X) in front of the sentences which did not happen in the story.
